Mace and Como shortlisted for Building Awards 2012

  • Mace and Como are delighted to be shortlisted for this year's awards

Mace and its specialist fit out firm, Como, have been named as finalists in this year's Building Awards. Mace has been shortlisted for a third consecutive year in the Project/Construction Management Firm of the Year category and Como has been named a finalist in the Contractor (up to £300m) of the Year category.

The prestigious Building Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the industry's top performers and projects and to be shortlisted is a testament to the high quality and added value we continue to deliver.

Mace's Chairman & CEO, Stephen Pycroft, commented: "We are obviously delighted to be nominated for Contractor of the Year and also for the third year running as Project/Construction management firm of the year. 2012 is set to be a rewarding year as we celebrate the completion of two of the largest and high-profile milestones for London – the Olympic and Paralympic Games and The Shard at London Bridge."

Steve Root, Managing Director for Como, adds: "We are delighted to be nominated for the 2012 Building Awards. In a challenging market, Como has continued to grow and deliver quality projects. This could not have been achieved without the continued support of our clients and the dedication of our staff and supply chain."

These nominations follow last year's successes, when Mace was named winner of the Project/Construction Management Firm of the Year and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre received the Project of the Year accolade.

Award winners will be announced at the Building Awards ceremony on Wednesday 18th April at Grosvenor House in London.
